Peer-review Policy

Peer Review Policy

The corresponding or submitting author submits the paper to the journal, usually via an online system. The Editorial office checks the paper’s composition and arrangement against the journal’s Author Guidelines to make sure it includes the required sections and stylizations.  The manuscripts submitted for publication to IJERAT are Cross-checked for Similarity Index using iThenticate. Manuscripts found to be plagiarized during the initial stages are out-rightly rejected and not considered for review in the journal.

The articles which are passed through the editorial office are subjected to Double-blind review. The article will be forwarded to selected referees for specialist review and Peer Review Process. During the review process, the Editorial Board Member may ask the author to make revisions according to the comments made in the peer-review process.

If the revision is not satisfactory it may be sent back to revise again.

Based on the revised manuscript Editor makes the final decision on whether the manuscript should be accepted or not. Our peer-review process is confidential and the identities of reviewers cannot be revealed.

The standard peer-review process together with plagiarism checking, language editing, and technical handling of the manuscript may take Five weeks and it may take possibly longer if the author is asked to make second revisions to the manuscript.
